A normal kid, aging from three to five years old is at the age of learning and discovering things they don’t know. They often ask questions about something which is sometimes irritating with the older, especially when they don’t catch up quickly what you are explaining to him/her. But what actually is the basic thing to teach or instruct a kid are some basic activities with their hands. Kids sure love to do anything which in the way they can feel or touch it, commonly playing with toys, accessories, etc. But parents want to learn their kids at their stage with some good manners instead.
Wash. Kids love to play with water, obviously they always like to play during their bath taking too long for you bath them. “Wash your hands before going to eat” is always the phrase you always hear coming from your mother’s mouth. For a child, it will be a hard habit for him/her to wash hands before eating because kids always want what they want. So they eat first without remembering the phrase and forgetting them. But some kids are easy to pick up lines and making it a habit for them because of some consequences. Anyway, it is the parents who are responsible for the learning ability of their kids on how washing their hands will become their habit.
Clap. A joyful and funny activity of hands for kids is to clap their hands. It is commonly the first thing or the first lesson might a kid will learn from their bare hands, to clap. This is the best thing and the easiest thing you can teach to a kid when they at this growing age of development. Parents teach this hand activity when their kids are still babies or going to be at the age of one year. Babies can actually do clap with their hands but not with that great sound unlike a kid which is actually more funny and happy. Kids love to clap their hands together with some songs and chants singing along with their parents, especially with their mothers. They enjoy the beat it made and they appreciate their parent’s time to teach them with some funny hand activity.
Write. Before a kid goes to school, the parents have their own responsibility to handle and prepare their kids from the activities in school, especially in writing. Writing is instructed to a kid by their parents. With the help of each other and the relationship between them, commonly it will bring a good result for the kids to have a good writing skill. Though it is not easy to teach a child, especially to write something, parents have a lot of patience to them. They teach them to write their name which is basically the first words kids will write. Apparently, there are still kids who doesn’t have any appreciation or attention in writing though they love to play something with their hands but sometimes, it is not for writing holding pencils and crayons.
Handshake. Kids are commonly afraid to strangers or those persons they don’t really know or they haven’t yet meet in their life, especially those people who has the face, you know what I mean. But one of the parents instructed their kids to do with their hands is handshake. Though portraits good manners to others, a kid will still be afraid and feared with someone and will take time and thinking if they will have a handshake with this person or not. Commonly for a sociable kid, he/she will surely have a handshake with anyone if he/she loves to. But for the opposite side, even if they are thought with their parents of handshaking, they still don’t want to keep those unknown people around them nor to have a handshake with them.
Pray. This is the best thing parents may teach their kids to do with their hands. Holding each hand, making sign of the cross, and uttering a prayer are the one a kid must learn at his/her age. It is best for a kid to know how to pray with their hands and make it a habit for growing. Teaching your kids to have a faith to God and building it at their learning age, will successfully strengthens and grows their faith to God in their future. Kids may not respond with this but making it a habit together with the family, relatives, or anyone will make their faith stronger. Furthermore, taking them to the church will help you to easily teach them to pray with their hands. Though not really a pray, but the first step to a prayer, holding their hands kneeling and bowed.
