This is favored after the Supreme Court (SC) en banc 10 153 legality of Republic Act or law for the appointment of OICs in ARMM.

In the 8-7 vote the Supreme Court decided that the said law is associated with the Constitution.

In conjunction of removing the existing temporary restraining order (TRO) in the case, including the election synchronization or  simultaneously conducting ARMM elections in the coming 2013 elections.

Earlier, Atty. Romulo Macalintal and former senator. Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel opposed the said initiative of the Palace due to some legal point.

Another group opposed to the postponement of ARMM elections also filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to declare the RA 10 153 being illegal.

The ARMM elections should be conducted on August 8, 2011, but failed due to procrastinate submissions election law.
